The approach is simple.

​​But it wasn’t until I pursued my degree in clinical nutrition that I realized what I have known all my life about real food is a concept our society has branched away from...


...that in order to be healthy, we don't have to waste hours analyzing nutrition labels, confine ourselves to the latest fad diet, pull our hair out over media headlines, or be obsessed with counting our food’s calories. Actually, the more we scrutinize our food, the further away from health we get. Because the healthiest foods don’t come with any labels at all.

The healthiest foods don't have fancy packaging with shiny labels that say "gluten-free" and "low in sugar". You can't cut coupons for them, and you probably don't even see them in advertising campaigns. In fact, it's only when we eat the freshest ingredients with no labels at all that the complexity and technicalities of modern-day "healthy" eating become completely irrelevant. By simply providing your body with the real food and nutrients it craves, you no longer have to headache over counting points, calories, or grams of [insert - you name it].


You see, it's not about eating less; it’s about eating better.  It's time we focus less on quantity and more on quality.  So, maybe we should stop asking why real food is so expensive and start asking why processed food is so cheap.

But it doesn't end there, my friends. In fact, that's just where it begins. Because healthy eating won't turn into healthy living if it feels like a chore. I believe eating healthy is about so much more than the number on the scale or the size of your jeans; it's about a lifestyle that directly affects the outcome of your life. It's a means to self-respect; a vehicle to a happier, more fulfilled life.  It's not about the weight you lose, it's about the LIFE you gain.


Not to mention, the scale does not define our health! (It may influence our health, but it most definitely doesn't define it.) Because no matter what you weigh, you are, quite literally, what you eat. Every 35 days your skin replaces itself... Your liver, every 6 months... Your bones, every 10 years. Your body makes new cells from the food you eat. What you eat literally becomes you. And you have the privilege to choose what you're made of.

My intention is to empower you to honor your body, and treat it with respect; to turn your "I can't have that" into "I don't want that"; to stop seeing rules and start seeing possibilities; to learn what your body truly craves and be its provider so it can continue to provide for you.

It's a resource for those seeking a healthier lifestyle so they can live their life to its fullest potential. My intention is to share with you how to take your health into your own hands, to nourish your body, and optimize your wellbeing… all to inspire you to become the driver of your own wellness journey, where life is a little more simple and a lot more vibrant!


One of the things I’m often asked is, "Why are you on this mission?" 

My answer is because it's time. Time to reimagine our approach toward health. Time to reframe our mindset around lifestyle choices. And time to redefine our wellbeing.


This seed was planted in me at a young age.  I grew up on my family's farm in a small town in Maine. (Yep, that's me in our farm stand at the ripe age of six!) I was fortunate to pick and eat fresh foods straight from the garden every day and I gained a great appreciation of where food comes from and the hard work that goes into growing it.
